Will Kansas City Library Allow Pro-Palestinian Terror Movie Screening?!?

Of course we believe in free speech but not on the taxpayer's dime. 

Accordingly . . . 

We notice social media promo of a movie screening that's still not confirmed by the KC Public Library.

Right now Reddit & a few Twitter accounts are putting this promo on blast and it's complete garbage. We can only hope it's just a troll . . . Here's the sketchy premise . . .

"Millions of people around the world are pouring into the streets and taking a stand against apartheid Israel in defense of the rights and self-determination of the Palestinian people. The Israel-Gaza “war” is, in fact, not a war at all. It is the slaughter of innocent Palestinians at the hands of Israeli occupiers. What occurred October 7th was an inevitable response to 75-years of enduring endless brutal oppression and repression."

OBVIOUSLY, THAT'S COMPLETE B.S. AND THE TONE OF THIS "CONVERSATION" SEEMS TO BE DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO PROMOTING TERRORISM!!!

As of this writing, a somewhat popular but overblown KC sub-Reddit is hosting more Gaza movie-goer conversation about this topic amongst the 5 dudes who spend their day helping AI algorithms. 

It all seems like garbage and we can only hope this beloved & important East side KC library isn't caught in the middle of any drama in support of cinematic dramatic license and a tiny reserved room hot mess in the making. 

Again . . .TKC supports free speech and people's right to watch whatever movie they want . . . But if progressives in Kansas City don't push back against every sketchy aspect of wartime rhetoric that attempts to justify unthinkable tragedy . . . Then they're really not that progressive at all.
