KANSAS CITY PUBLIC WORKS CORRUPT POWER PLAY EXPOSED!!!

Behind the scenes . . .

Yes we have names and more examples ready to go. But for this post we want to get down to the crux of this issue and call out the horrific legislation in the light of day.

Also . . .

Just remember, if anything ever happens to TKC . . . At any point ever. Even if there's a note . . .

It was MURDER

With that out of the way . . . Here's a bit of EPIC cowtown chicanery underway right now.

INSIDERS EXPOSE AN EPIC KANSAS CITY POWER PLAY THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO EVEN MORE COUNCIL & BUREAUCRATIC CORRUPTION AT 12TH & OAK!!!

The tragic thing here is that it's all happening in public and NOBODY is really paying attention at how a dynamic duo operating at city hall seems to be working the system to their advantage to an EPIC degree.

Here's the word and we promise more follow-up if Mayor & Council pass this garbage . . .

Ordinance 230741 corruption power play

"There’s something afoot at City Hall that reeks and it's being done under the disguise of making government efficient but is really to make government easier for developers. Nothing new about City Hall backroom deals but this involves several big names and power players jostling for control.

"In a nutshell, last week Council heard Ordinance 230741 which strips public infrastructure oversight from the City Planning and Development department and moves it to the Public Works and Water Services Department.  The Land Development Division (LDD) of Planning is how the city permits new streets and makes sure they are built to last and is the major focus of this ordinance.

"The part of this ordinance that is raising a lot of questions in City Hall is how this power move by the development community is going down.  The ordinance was dropped from the 22nd floor out of nowhere and insiders point the finger at Public Works (PW) and Water Services Department (WSD) interests.

"The ordinance will send certain permitting functions to the Water Services Department and others to Public Works. The benefit? Permits issued for development result in BIG BUCKS.  Taking LDD from City Planning becomes a new cash cow for PW and WSD. And it’s a big loss for City Planning and Development and independent inspection of new development.

"What's scary about this power play is that the power to grant waivers for street construction will be shifted to PW where PW can issue waivers ad nauseam for well-connected or messed-up projects if they choose.

"This ordinance is a bad idea. The BIG COUNCIL LEPRECHAUN should stay out of developers’ deals that need any more work because they didn’t follow the rules and now want a pass. COUNCIL LEPRECHAUN has a chance to help his friends, or maybe he wants to be like other Councilpersons and City Employees and go to work for one of these companies. And is it appropriate for any City employee, especially at the Director level, to be in a position of possible patronage and who can negotiate and sign contracts with companies who contributed to his wife’s campaign? This stinks like three-day-old fish. Anyone who votes for this ordinance is condoning the behavior of the Council's inappropriate interference. If they do vote “aye”, it’s time to check the lists of their campaign contributors."
