Residents have been surprised by bill spikes, charged for cars they no longer own and previous agreements haven't been recorded property.

In his ongoing debate with the Exec regarding property taxes . . . Legislator Manny Abarca offers this insight:
"For those within @JacksonCountyMO who like me have not had their BOE hearing scheduled, paying in protest is the only way to ensure that you get your refund if your tax is reduced. More info to come for those mortgage holders."
