Plaza Art Fair Patrons Talk Pedestrian Plan Amid Empty Storefronts

Man on the street interviews offer pity quotes that might not consider all of the biz that has DISAPPEARED from the entertainment district since the Mayor was shouting at the po-po along with protesters not so long ago.

In fairness, here's word from the city hall honcho . . .

"Mayor Lucas said no permanent changes would be made without plenty of input from the public and Plaza ownership first. But he pointed out that temporary pilot programs would help study impacts to business and traffic."

And that's an interesting sentiment given that the first public meeting on the topic took place without any opt-in from nearby stakeholders.
