VOTERS ACROSS KANSAS CITY IGNORED JUNE ELECTIONS THAT GARNERED SINGLE-DIGIT TURNOUT IN MANY PARTS OF TOWN!!!

There wasn't a credible opposition candidate for Mayor, there were three council positions that were basically uncontested and a small cadre of activists declared an election victory even after one of their candidates was defeated and MOST voters stayed home.

Nevertheless . . .

It's interesting that U.S. corporate media has dressed up the occasion as U.S. Democracy Day.
