This South Side event is one of Kansas City's best and only haterz would say otherwise. 

In KCMO there's a very real divide betwixt the political elite and the community, this event steers toward REAL WORLD practical solutions and offers a message that's more than just preaching to the choir. For that . . . Organizers have our respect.

"A church parking lot on Kansas City’s southside willingly played host to the event. Organizers said the location speaks to their overall message.

"We have everybody here under one accord of stopping the violence. Everybody here wants to live. There is no gun in here. I made sure of that,” organizer Desmound Logan said.

"The goal of the event was to give drivers a safe space to compete and take the shows off the streets."
