A few things to consider . . .
- Labor markets still don't favor employers and waiting tables remains a last resort for many workers.
- Working hours limited . . . Cowtown closing time continues to take a hit and most places shut down around 8PM as if Kansas City night life was akin to somewhere in Iowa.
- A slew of closings this week confirm our thesis and remind us that local biz has yet to fully recover from the tragic plague that shut down so many places in Kansas City & around the world.
