This weekend the Kansas City Star published an editorial so egregiously in error that it demands clear and uncertain rebuke.
We're here to set the record straight . . .
THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANS DESPISE JACKSON MAHOMES!!!
I believe the data will back TKC up on this assertion given so much home team rebuke for the TikTok star, nasty comments and documented disgust from hardcore Chiefs fans via social media, podcasts and other lesser forms of punditry.
Nevertheless . . . Regarding Mahomes the Lesser . . .
THE KANSAS CITY STAR INCORRECTLY BLAMES CHIEFS FANS FOR VANDALISM AND HATERATION DIRECTED AGAINST AN ALLEGED ASSAULT VICTIM OF JACKSON MAHOMES!!!
Here is the crux of their argument . . .
"You only have to read the comments responding to every story about the incident to know that the reaction of some Kansas City Chiefs fans was that Vaughn liked it, was making too much of it, and was wrong to report the younger brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes."
Cool story.
But Internets comments can say anything that bot armies would like repeated over and over as even Elon Musk would attest.
Again . . .
The NFL & Chiefs discourse proves TKC correct.
There is some cognitive dissonance required to overcome but KC Chiefs fans have long regarded both Brittany & Jackson as annoying distractions that ruin so much about the Mahomes brand. This is cruel and somewhat unfair but that viewpoint is backed up by TENS OF THOUSANDS OF COMMENTS that are more relevant than the newspaper cherry-picking a few mean tweets and using that to devise and ill-informed conclusion.
