Local transit activists hate so many big trucks in Kansas City . . . However, they're love for the environment doesn't show any mercy for small biz who have invested in an embattled neighborhood.

There’s “sidewalk closed” signs, “road closed” signs and cones that stretch for 3.5 miles.

“Are we able to make it another year?” a manager of a bakery wondered.
