To be fair, Jon Stephens is very tall and that often inspires investor confidence whereas cynical blogger jerks might scoff, giggle & chortle at "European-style" office space development plans. 

And so we take a peek at the same players with a different tune . . .

"The current president of PortKC is a former president at Cordish. Jon Stephens opened the Power & Light District for Cordish as president.

"That certainly does not suggest nor infer any sort of Bidenesque activities, but it is relevant to the story when speaking of a public works project and what a community relies on from its alleged journalists."

Port KC selects Cordish for mixed-use project at Berkley Riverfront on last big available parcel - Kansas City Business Journal

Port KC chose a team that includes The Cordish Cos. and Parking Company of America for developments that would meld new mixed uses at Berkley Riverfront with a public garage providing spaces for the Kansas City Current's coming multipurpose stadium.
