Jackson County Exec Frank White Walks Out Of Property Tax Presser

It's somewhat surprising that the County Exec basically gave local media and residents the finger amid a historic fight over property taxes and it wasn't a bigger deal or even garnered a headline on a local story.

I know you d-bags aren't gonna believe me but TKC totes saw this happen by mere coincidence.

The new JaxCo outpost is within walking distance and I didn't know they were having a meetup yesterday morning . . . I was walking back from getting an iced coffee and I noticed a bunch of cameras gathered as the Exec strolled back into the building with all of the newsies, bureaucrats and politicos just kinda staring at him with a look of disbelief . . . And then, they slowly returned to their work. It was weird.

But the coffee was a decent treat whilst attempting to figure out a new direction for this bloggy dump.

Don't worry, I made asked nicely for my lady friend to pay.

Thursday also marked the first time County Executive Frank White spoke to the media about the assessment situation.

“Due to a meeting, I can’t stay for the entire update this morning,” he said. “But it was a priority for me to be here even for the short time that I’ll be here just to speak to you and, most importantly, show my ongoing support for Gail and her staff.”

Regarding this stunt, conservative talker Pete Mundo asked:

"WTF ELSE could Frank White POSSIBLY have on his agenda that is more important?! This man continues to insult his own taxpayers more and more every day."
