Is Low Energy Mayor Rory Rowland Moving Independence, MO Backward?!?

This morning we encourage somebody to grab Mayor Rory Rowland a strong coffee in hopes that he'll wake up and provide a bit of excitement for Independence, MO.

This week Mayor Rowland give his state of the city speech at the Independence Chamber AND NOBODY CARED!!!

The event was formerly a freebie affair wherein voters were encouraged to attend. This time around, only the suits bothered to show up.

Behind the scenes . . . Insiders tell us to look at a recent switcheroo in funding from the Independence EDC to the Independence Chamber which MIGHT explain the renewed cozy relationship. 

We're sure it's all kosher inasmuch as Mayor Rowland seems to boring to be anything but legit. 

In the meantime . . .

The suits are back in charge of Independence, MO and nothing they're doing seems to benefit the plebs which they preside over.
