Kansas City Police Arrest 'Subject Of Interest' After Prospect Massacre

Today's reminder that Kansas City police are the only people standing between the public and total chaos on local streets. 

In the aftermath of a horrific, deadly mass shooting on Prospect early this morning . . . Here is a report regarding the search for justice and ongoing investigation . . .

UPDATE: Detectives have been investigating throughout the day, as a result of their investigation they developed an identification of a subject of interest in this shooting. Their investigation led them to a residence in the 5300 block of Martha Truman Rd, in Grandview MO.

Detectives responded to that location, and just after 5pm a subject of interest (adult male) was taken into custody without incident, for further investigation.

The investigation is still ongoing, and detectives will be working this evening to gather investigative findings to present a case to prosecutors for consideration of applicable charges.

In accordance with the Missouri Sunshine Law, the identification and any associated arrest records/mug shot of the subject of interest will only become public if/when charges are filed.
