Clay Chastain Pleads For Support: Are KC Community Leaders Going To Do Nothing???

Local leaders doing nothing seems to be the way things are going for the past 50 years. 

Nevertheless, we share a word from the alternative candidate who isn't having any luck getting the votes he needs.

 Mayoral Candidate Clay Chastain Press release: It's time for the FOP, KC Tenants, neighborhood organizations and others to get off the sidelines, do what's right for KC and encourage those they have influence over to elect Chastain Mayor. The reason: KC is worse off now (in almost every measurable category) than four-years ago when (No Show) Lucas was elected Mayor.

Are KC Community leaders going to do nothing while Lucas not only refuses to debate his opponent, but is also trying to defund the police amid on-going, record-setting homicides?

Are KC Community leaders going to do nothing while Lucas predicts he will be part of, "the most progressive council in the city's history?" 

Are KC Community leaders going to do nothing while Lucas stupidly and carelessly divides our Community by provoking racial tension and pushing reparations and Sanctuary City status?

Are KC Community leaders going to do nothing even though Lucas exercised poor judgement in pushing a $100 million (per mile) antiquated Touristy streetcar system rather than modernize transit for those who need it most? 

Are KC Community leaders going to do nothing about a Mayor who cares more about his political future in DC, than he cares about KC?

It appears KC Community leaders are playing it politically safe because they believe Chastain will lose. But playing it politically safe, rather than supporting the better candidate, will only give us 4-more years of a terrible radical Mayor, his disastrous policies and a City moving toward joining failed progressive city's like... Portland, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, etc.

A terrible Mayor could get reelected if good people continue to stand around and do nothing.
