Given today's showdown at 12th & Oak, it's clear that the META Northland controversy is bigger than most Kansas City voters might understand. 

A few things to consider . . . 

Minority contracting goals are key to providing a major source of income to urban communities. A lack of commitment to these funds is unthinkable from any inner-city leader. 

The demonstration puts Mayor Q and the city manager against some of the biggest names in local advocacy.

ONCE AGAIN MAYOR Q HAS A CHOICE . . . STAND WITH URBAN LEADERS & A COALITION OR SUPPORT HIS TEAM THAT HAS BEEN OPENLY DENOUNCED AS RACIST!!!

This is one of those "live & die by the sword" situations . . . Mayor Q is quick to tag his opponents and random old-ass dudes as racist or use racially charged rhetoric to his political advantage . . . Now, that same tactic confronts his office.
