Man charged in death of girlfriend who was found at abandoned car wash in south Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City man is accused of killing his girlfriend and later leaving her body at an abandoned car wash in south KCMO. Donnell Buckman, 44, is charged with second-degree murder and armed action in the death of Leigh Dalton. Court documents detail the investigation into the incident.

A man accused of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend and later escaped the Ray County Jail is back in Missouri. Justin Robinson escaped from the Ray County Jail on March 28. He was on the loose for nearly a full week before he was taken into custody at a bus stop in Tulsa, Okla.Robinson will reside at the Clay County, Mo., Detention Center.
Northland family remembers father killed in hit-and-run; Reward offered for answers
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Northland family is hoping for answers two weeks after a hit-and-run driver killed their father. Rockne "Rocky" Gross, 73, was walking in his Kansas City neighborhood near North Walrond Avenue and Maplewoods Parkway on Thursday, March 23, around 3:15 p.m. when it happened.

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - The Independence Police Department is looking for a 16-year-old girl who has not been seen since Friday afternoon. According to the police, Lauren Calles-Mendez was last seen at 1:40 p.m. in the area of 8th Street and Sterling Avenue. She was on a bicycle.
