This is a meaningful victory for the Kansas politico and it will benefit quite a few conservatives & progressives. 

Even better . . . Low-income neighborhoods are even more adversely impacted by diabetes because high carbs are cheap and easy to prepare and give a great illusion of a healthy meal.

Accordingly . . . Here's a well deserved victory lap for healthcare progress that should have bipartisan support . . . 

 Representative Sharice Davids, the only member of the Kansas delegation who voted to enact the insulin cap, has been a vocal advocate for lowering the cost of prescription drugs, particularly insulin.
