Later on pancakes in the early morning signified good times and possibly more interesting moments into the dead of night and early morning. 

Chiefs pancake art tells the story of a nation indulging in abundance and using creativity to pass the time. 

Rather than fade into pessimism and realize that pancakes might be nothing more than fried bread and a risk of diabetes . . .  Instead, we merely share the goodness of this moment in time and realize that we're, once again, in a unique period of Kansas City history.

Now that the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles have both landed in Arizona ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl LVII matchup and had a bit of time to settle in, both teams are quickly beginning to adjust to the fast-paced environment that comes with Super Bowl week.

Community auctioning off Chiefs-themed gift basket for Kansas toddler battling cancer

PAOLA, Kan. - One community is holding a fundraiser the day before the Super Bowl to help a Miami County, Kansas toddler battling cancer. That group will auction off a Kansas City Chiefs-themed gift basket with all the proceeds going to Aurora's fight. All Aurora needs is some stickers and a white board to have fun.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Harvesters is joining others in the Kansas City community in the Super Bowl spirit by accepting a Super Bowl challenge from a Philadelphia food bank. Harvesters is teaming up with Philadelphia-based community food bank Philabundance for a Super Bowl fundraising campaign competition as part of their Huddle to End Hunger campaign.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes spoke about his faith at Opening Night at the Super Bowl and what it means to him. The Chiefs quarterback can be seen praying before game and he's never shied away from talking about his faith. "My Christian plays a role in everything I do," Mahomes said.
