Kansas City Council Dude Eric Bunch Confronts More Campaign Contribution Questions

We'll get into this more later but here is the basics on new info just sent our way . . .

MISSOURI ETHICS DOX REVEAL AT LEAST TWO DONATIONS TO KANSAS CITY COUNCILMAN ERIC BUNCH EXCEEDING CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION LIMITS!!!

As always, don't just take my word for it . . . Check the Missouri Ethics Commission website to see for yourself.

We have a screenshot for a follow-up post.

But more importantly . . .

The two donations in question are for $2,975.00 from the Operating Engineers Local 101 Political Action Committee . . .

And . . .

A local construction company & developer gave the council dude about $2,900.00.

Currently, the KCMO Municipal Code explains that In-District candidates are limited to donations of no more than $1800.

A couple of quick things come to mind . . .

More than any other candidate, Council Dude Eric Bunch seems to be relying on developer support. Midtown voters might want to consider this amid a bevy of projects that threaten to infringe on neighborhoods and in the aftermath of the Main & Armour project enduring protest and eventual defeat because of excessive tax breaks.

And then . . .

Local 4th District voters ALSO might remember that councilman Eric Bunch offered scathing rebuke against his opponent Geoff Jolly a mere 4 years ago over union affiliations, contacts and donations.

When things got really heated . . . Bunch supporters called their opponent a "union hack" as they championed their "green" candidate Eric Bunch.

Now . . . Just 4 short years later . . . Councilman Bunch is touting his union endorsements and seems desperate to accept as much money as possible from organized labor.

Developing . . .
