Under Pressure: City Manager Brian Platt Clashes With Council Cont'd

Given a great deal of "behind the scenes" info coming our way, we feel confident in reporting of continued disdain for the city manager by many staffers and outgoing council members. 

To wit . . . 

TERMED OUT COUNCIL MEMBERS WORK TO OUST THE CITY MANAGER BEFORE THEIR TIME IS UP!!!

A few things to consider . . .

Generally, the Mayor's office isn't quite as loyal to this dude as news watchers might think. Mayor Q has tossed aside far more important people. 

Mayor Q getting stuck inside an elevator this week was a big deal inasmuch as complaints about building maintenance have been directed at the city manager's office . . . Fair or not.  

Insiders understand that THE CITY MANAGER CONTROLS THE MONEY for Kansas City and nothing is really going to change with Brian Platt in charge. 

Now . . .

Some have predicted that he won't last long after Mayor Q's reelection.

From our vantage in the cheap seats . . . We think the decision might come sooner.
