Is Amanda Adkins The New Jacob Turk OR Should She Quit Now???

One of our BEST & BRIGHTEST readers asked an important question this week . . . 

Does this latest loss end the political career of Amanda Adkins??? Considering that she wasn't competitive in a district drawn specifically for her campaign . . .

First thing . . .

We wouldn't dare discourage anyone from pursuing their dreams. Ms. Adkins is a smart lady and the people are Kansas are lucky that she has dedicated her time to public service. 

However . . .

Maybe congress isn't the right fit . . . Certainly JoCo and/or the State Senate need more capable leaders. 

Meanwhile . . . 

We reference the very noble Jacob Turk because he has made a tradition to losing to Congressman Cleaver. Jacob Turk is the Washington Generals of Kansas City political contests.

He dutifully lost again this week . . . And we're uncertain if Amanda Adkins should follow that same career path.
