To be fair, given rampant real estate speculation . . . This move isn't really about building anything sustainable . . .

Developers that acquired properties next to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts earlier this year are studying a mixed-use skyscraper that would rank among the tallest buildings both in Kansas City and Missouri on the whole, according to FAA filings.
