SHOULD ANYBODY CARE ABOUT THE OPINIONS OF THE KANSAS CITY STAR WHEN THEY KEEP THEM LOCKED BEHIND THEIR PAYWALL???

Sure, profit models are important but old school conceptions of media don't really benefit the discourse. 

Moreover . . .

It's kind of hypocritical to complain about the KCPD's website issues when their own offering has chased away most of their subscriber base.
