These are tough times for the super-minority party in the Show-Me State. 

Experts don't have much hope for an heiress to defeat the super-majority GOP . . . And raising cash amid the anticipation of a "red wave" election is a tough sell.

Nevertheless . . .

HISTORY | Truman Gala

Back in the 70's we had Harry's Day... Then in 1987, the story is that two loyal Democrats (Bill Baker and Lu Vaughn) were traveling on the way back from Jackson Days in Springfield, and while driving back the idea of a Jackson County celebration was born.
