Investigation underway after two people were found dead in 'suspicious' fire
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One of the buildings at the Vivion Oak Apartments is just a shell. Investigators want to know what ignited a fire that killed two people Monday morning in the building at 5056 North Oak Trafficway. Several neighbors told KSHB 41 News they woke up to pops, screaming then an explosion.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A pilot who authorities say was intoxicated when he landed on Interstate 70 near Grain Valley is challenging his driver's license revocation in Missouri. An attorney for John Seesing, 35, of Prairie Village, filed a petition for review in the Circuit Court of Jackson County.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly has ordered for all flags on state ground, buildings and facilities in Kansas to be flown at half-staff Wednesday in honor of the North Kansas City police officer Daniel Vasquez, who was shot and killed at a traffic stop on Tuesday, July 19.

The Kansas City community is preparing to say its final goodbyes to fallen Officer Daniel Vasquez. Vasquez was shot and killed during a traffic stop last Tuesday. The visitation for Vasquez is Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Vineyard Church.

Daniel Vasquez was born on Jan. 19, 1990 to Francisco Vasquez Hernandez and Guadalupe Nunez De Vasquez.
