Again . . .
For the record and because TKC doesn't want to waste time on undergrad shenanigans . . .
As always, we believe that anything and everything connected with high school is a gigantic waste of time and effort.
Still . . . There was a big social media slap fight on this issue and the hot mess deserves an objective bit of bloggy journalism amid partisan slap fighting . . .
Yesterday we posted the hot take from our favorite conservative talker . . .
Here is the retort . . .
"As noted in our previous coverage, Turning Point USA is an extremist group with ties to white supremacists and whose Founder endorsed the Great Replacement Terrorist Ideology which motivated the killer who committed mass murder of Black people in Buffalo, New York this past weekend.
"The personal accounts from the students we spoke with are in direct contradiction to the “misinformation and lies” which students say are currently being spread by white supremacist sympathizer Pete Mundo, and purveyor of the white terrorist “Great Replacement” ideology, Charlie Kirk, specifically regarding an incident where a single student turned over a table causing it to break."
This isn't exactly a denial but does provide some context . . . If it's to be believed . . . Very much like the insightful but curious reporting from the scene after the Reichstag fire - A reference we trust that will be lost on most public school students who might not have time to study the source material that inspires social justice activism.
Anyhoo . . .
Again . . . What we think is important is that this progressive news outlet clearly has exceptional sources inside the school as they share images of Lee's Summit students rallying around BLM flags. Their access & journalistic "vigor" (for lack of a better word) might be part of the reason why they were the proud recipient of a $25K grant. Good luck to them . . .

Lee's Summit West Students Organize Massive Protest Denouncing TPUSA
Lee's Summit, MO - In a moment perhaps unprecedented in Lee's Summit District history, a historic protest of nearly 500 students took to the school's yard to peacefully demonstrate their opposition to the founding of white extremist group Turning Point USA.
