Meanwhile, in a mostly garbage Friday afternoon political hit piece, the Kansas City Star reported a 911 call at the former Guv's house and absolutely NOTHING ELSE other a perfectly reasonable explanation from the politico . . . Here's the newspaper's side of the story . . .

After silent 911 call from Eric Greitens' home, he said children played with phone

In May 2019, a 911 operator answered a call coming from former Gov. Eric Greitens' lakeside home in eastern Missouri. Twenty-nine seconds of near-silence followed. The call came almost a year after Greitens resigned in scandal, accused of sexually assaulting and blackmailing his former hairdresser.

Meanwhile, Greitens continues his campaigning with a shout out to Kansas City police . . .

Every day and every night, officers all across Missouri step into the dark to do dangerous work. They deserve to be supported.

Update . . . 

On Sunday the Kansas City Police Board issued a statement informing media that KCPD was apolitical and they recently asked for a ride-along post to be removed. That request was honored.
