There are about half a dozen journalists in Kansas City who are paid a decent salary to propagate an endless stream of hype on behalf of local developers. There's very little follow-up or real reporting whilst the breathless updates are offered to clueless readers in order encourage a sense of "vibrancy" and hope for the economic future of this cowtown.

The signs seeking investment are gone and one of the best and brightest TKC readers noticed . . .
The domain name for the project is now up for sale at a lofty price of $26,000.
It's an interesting offer but we'll pass for now.
Developing . . . But probably not.
