Snow plows drivers and shovelers are stayed busy Thursday morning as snow continued to fall across the Kansas City region. A mix of sleet and freezing rain early Thursday morning, followed by heavy snow, made for treacherous roads. David Bartlett was pushing a gas-powered snow blower outside Crestwood Shops in Brookside to clear the sidewalks in front of the storefronts.
No trash pick up Thursday and Friday due to snow
Trash and recycling collection will be suspended on Thursday and Friday so these drivers are available to plow snow. Specifically, this means no trash or recycling pickup on Thursday, Feb. 17 and Friday, Feb. 18. Residents with Thursday and Friday trash pickup days will be allowed to place four bags out next week.
