Kansas City Defender Activist Blog Blames Racism For Death Amid Sketchy OD Claimz

Not even sure I want to link this story . . .

But we'll offer a hypertext path to the tale if only to perform a public service for purposes of education and news . . .

There are a couple of life lessons here . . .

Most importantly . . . 

Drugs are dangerous and kill people every day in Kansas City. 

At least that's one thing that nearly everyone involved with this story can agree upon.

Secondly . . .

Blaming police for a tragic death and accusing somebody based on hearsay testimony of people with drug problems isn't great journalism or even responsible Internets chatter. 

Not everybody can do this blog thing and we offer this friendly advice in order so that more people will participate in the online discourse with the knowledge that the topics reported by citizen media deserve some thought and consideration from ourselves, at least, if no one else.

To be fair, all of the report seems like a complicated urban story wherein people have lives far too complicated to have much time for reviewing the news.
