T-bone has been a staple of the Johnny Dare morning show for more than 20 years and, sadly, fans question his recent absence.
Overall, just like so many media outlets including this one, the Johnny Dare show hasn't really been the same since the pandemic.
Also a recent illness from the former local top jock has seemingly taken a great deal of excitement out of the show.
Whilst the program isn't exactly on life-support . . . It's definitely far removed from its 1990s peek.
As the fortunes of terrestrial radio continue to decline . . . Contractual obligations and other concerns keep Johnny Dare from branching out into the podcast scene.
Moreover . . .
An array of competing content from all manner of online media have emerged to compete.
Even worse . . .
"Drive time" really isn't a thing anymore post-COVID and given satellite/streaming options.
Still . . .
T-Bone was a beloved and key component of Johnny Dare's show . . . Now he's gone without so much as a peep or a mention.
Longtime fans have noticed.
