Kansas City Development Corruption ALMOST Explained

An apology is in order . . .

I didn't know that The KC Beacon was written for children.

Seriously, I thought the publication was for adults and deserved criticism for being prog blog garbage.

However, a recent missive regarding local development reveals a stunning naiveté that can only be forgiven when coming from elementary level students. 

Here's an example . . .

"Each development project is unique, and not all projects involve tax incentives. That’s why Kansas City’s economic development process looks less like a straight line from point A to point B and more like a flow chart."

That's cute. Actually, it's even simpler than that . . .

Payoff somebody under the table at city hall and/or get a bagman attorney who is an expert in making these kind of "connections" in order to facilitate corruption development.
