The April 6th election is quickly approaching and supporters of the Kansas City earnings tax aren't wasting any time building an army of proponents.
To wit and just released a few moments ago . . .
Take a look . . .
Moreover, Mayor Q dutifully leads the cheering section with growing enthusiasm as telework debate and appeals for exemptions from our suburban friends ramps up.
Developing . . .
Vote yes if you want more of the same.
ReplyDeleteKeep waiting on that bulky item trash pickup. It never happens.
^^^ or you could just move to another city where you like it better Maude. Weird.
Delete^^^
DeleteMany people are. It's weird but the Internet allows some people to work from anywhere. A lot of them are deciding that Kansas City doesn't suit their needs.
Fortunately I do not have to pay. I live in Platte County and work in Leavenworth. I hear good arguments from individuals and the Show Me Institute will pop up with great arguments against it but there is never a well organized campaign against it. If it is as unjust as they claim- and I do agree it is unjust- surely somebody with deep pockets can step up to fund the resistance.

ReplyDeletebig surprise..all the Demosleazeball scam groups..greedy union slobs.. SJW scam groups.. all pimpin' the E-tax scam...
All these years of the E tax have been avoided by simply telling my employer, who is in Kansas City my address is a PO Box number at a post office located in Kansas City. Problem solved
ReplyDeleteThe e-tax is here to stay. Right or wrong, its end would be devasting to the city's finances. Changes to MO law mean that if it ever goes away, it can never return. If they have to result to stuffing ballot boxes to keep it going, they will.
ReplyDeleteExactly this will be a fraud election. Thell rig it to keep the etax. We no longer have free elections.
DeleteA list of folks who are so highly skilled that they can vote with one hand while having the other in the till.
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise that they all support shaking down other people for their money!
Hahahahaha!!
ReplyDeleteVote Yes on the Earnings Tax renewal, so we can keep spending tax money on entertainment districts, convention centers, convention hotels, parking garages for luxury condos and apartments, toy trains, stadiums and subsidize underperforming TIF's. This what they are really endorsing.
That is not a list of power players but a list of KC biggest GRIFTERS.
ReplyDeleteWill this end black on black murders?
ReplyDeleteGo for the record Mr. Q!!!
If we vote for the E tax, will the City Council stop the giveaways for firms to locate here? Their business model seems to be to attract firms to move here, then tax the worker's earnings. Makes the bottom line look better. It's a nice business model.......until the tax is voted out.
ReplyDeleteWOW TURN ON THE TV THERE'S A PRESIDENT ON THERE AND HE'S NOT LYING
ReplyDeleteThats because corn puff cant talk about...ya know..the things
DeleteIf the black supremacist at the naacp are for it you know it isnt good for the taxpayer and they are getting a stealing out of YOUR EARNINGS. Same with those public service union soviets.
ReplyDeleteWithout eTax they won't be able to move the baseball stadium downtown.
ReplyDeleteThey need earnings tax so they can attempt to revitalize 18th & Vine one more time.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the City needs to hire J. Reed (MBA) who can create a report on how the e-tax can be used to revitalize the 3rd district. At the same time, roads, street lighting, side-walks, medians and basic city services in all of the other city districts can be ignored.
ReplyDeleteJermaine could travel on the city dime, to visit other cities like Detroit, Baltimore and Atlanta to see how they do it.
As the great line from the movie Casablanca Roundup The usual suspects in this case round up the usual scumbags.Who basically somehow are going to benefit from the e-tax under the table. So of course they're going to endorse it for their little bits of crumbs. They're going to receive the e-tax is nothing but a shuffle and a scam which does not benefit anybody.
ReplyDeleteWho's who? Looks more like an FBI wanted list from the Post Office wall.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteWell of course these people are supporting it they are getting money from it. I can't believe the city thinks people would think, "this is good so I will support it too." But well I forgot democrats really are that stupid.
It passes 70/30.
ReplyDeleteThis town is chock full of easily scared retards.
DO NOT RENEW THE E-TAX!!!!! IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE CONSERVATIVE, WHITE, OR LIVE
ReplyDeleteOUTSIDE DOWNTOWN, THOSE DOLLARS GO TO DOWNTOWN INTERESTS, ADMINISTRATION INSIDERS, PEOPLE AND GROUPS WHO HATE YOU. YOU ARE FINANCING YOUR OWN DOWNFALL IF YOU VOTE YES.
The e-tax will pass easily. But ever so gradually, the live here work here penalty will influence potential residents to live somewhere else, and potential businesses to locate elsewhere. The city should be coming up with ways to attract residents and businesses, not to discourage them.

ReplyDeleteVOTE NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
