Fox4: New climate organization sets lofty goal to radically cut KC emissions by 2050
Overview . . .
"The Kansas City Regional Climate Action Plan aims to transform the metropolitan area into a more resilient, equitable and healthy region. The plan proposes ambitious strategies to help mitigate climate change by achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. It also shows how the region can adapt to and bounce forward from the many risks climate change poses.
"The Climate Action Plan is technically feasible. Its success, though, hinges on leadership and high levels of voluntary collaboration from all parts of the community. No individual or organization can do everything; yet everyone can do something. The plan builds from a long track record of success along with shared community-wide goals to create stronger, healthier, more vibrant communities."

ReplyDeleteThere are a limited amount of fossil fuels on this earth and I'm going to get my share!
The city never misses an opportunity to ignore black on black crime.
ReplyDelete^^and you never miss an opportunity to bring it up. Loser.
ReplyDelete^^^ and you never fail at being the biggest loser here so.....
ReplyDeleteI'd say this proposal is DOA but with the current city council it has a chance of passing. There is simply no way to proved the energy that city residents need and demand without fossil fuels. Maybe future technology will be more successful than at present to produce, store, transmit and provide electricity. We can consider this plan if and when that happens, if ever.
ReplyDeleteWe will learn from the Amish
ReplyDeleteLooks like will definitely be getting that generator.
ReplyDeleteMid America Regional Council has been trying this since their inception. Libtard pipe dream.
ReplyDelete^^OK Repubturd.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is an impressive, comprehensive plan for addressing the future needs of our region. Lives will be saved with its implementation. Kudos to leadership in Kansas and Missouri for stepping up to the plate!
ReplyDeleteKansas City is has been lowering emissions for years
ReplyDeleteIt’s called packing up and moving out of town
^^and yet people and businesses are still here? Weird.
ReplyDelete30 years ago KC had a much larger population and a large industrial base. The Fairfax district is a shadow of what it used to be

DeleteMost of KC is that way now.
ReplyDeleteHey Silvestor:
ReplyDeleteWith a 2020 population of 501,957, it is the largest city in Missouri and the 38th largest city in the United States. Kansas City is currently growing at a rate of 0.66% annually and its population has increased by 9.17% since the most recent census, which recorded a population of 459,787 in 2010. Kansas City reached it's highest population of 507,330 in 1970.

You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You drive a truck. You're fucking dumb.
Bam! Silvestor just got knocked the fuck out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletestart by upgrading your sewer treatment plants to stop polluting so all your rivers streams creeks are filthy algae ridden nitrogen cess pools and harness biogas. and stop building glass towers with only dbl glazed glass.
ReplyDeleteYou gonna pay for that? How about China and India stop building coal fired plants?

ReplyDeleteCan anyone guess what they are NOT telling you????? It's the tons of money that is involved with their ridiculous plan to change buildings cars homes and even food given the fact that cows fart just like every other living thing. So my suggestion is to stick a cork up AOC's ass. That would be a good start.
Oh snap...silvestor got caught lying! Brutal beat down old boy, brutal!
ReplyDeleteyeah and SNAP benefits recipients in jackson county from 1990 and 2018 has doubled. from approx 50K to 100K.
ReplyDeleteThere is no deal. What idiots actually believe you can control WEATHER? This is a politicans scam to seperate working people from the money they earned. Wake up and pay attention instead of taxes.
ReplyDeleteThe increase in population is illegal immigration, which will leave us with more unpayable bills and what all liberals want - a welfare state.
ReplyDeleteThe government will be all powerful and will stay that way because of the votes for free shit.
^^Sorry CHUD, we are no longer entertaining liars. Sure, it’s all illegals. Prove it fucktard, we’ll wait. Go away CHUD. KC stocks. Always has, always will.

4:47 weren't you already whacked by the increase in SNAP benefit recipients.
ReplyDelete"The foreign-born population in the Kansas City metropolitan area has grown rapidly over the past quarter-century: from 33,000 in 1990 to 135,000 in 2015. All told, the number of immigrants grew more than 300 percent during the period, at a time when the total population in the metropolitan area grew by 40 percent."
TO be more specific the government would have to release more specific data instead instead of obfuscating it. https://www.migrationpolicy.org/research/immigration-heartland-profile-immigrants-kansas-city-region

ReplyDeleteAll the supporters should run out and purchase a new Tesla to show their support. See how that works out for the Burger king flippers.
ReplyDeleteUltimately the 'climate crisis' is a concoction to introduce competitors to oil and gas. Which is good. It does not mean that that the future will not include oil. with zero greenhouse gas emissions, humans are still perfectly capable of effectively destroying themselves, the environment, and causing biodiversity collapse.
ReplyDelete"Climate adaptation initiatives and investments will build resilience by addressing the systemic inequities that perpetuate vulnerability within these communities." What? Talk about conflating issues.
Everyone should play role of their part in metropolitan so that it does not depend on whole. Immigration Consultants Sg
ReplyDeletesomeone must of seen all of the smog that was above the northern section of the city yesterday hence the article here - surely the skies will be just as brown as they were yesterday.
