Bartle Warming Center Closing | COVID-19 Variants Update
Segment 1, beginning at 00:39: Why finding a better response to the plight of the homeless is so difficult. The temporary warming center at Bartle Hall has been providing overnight shelter to Kansas City's homeless population during the recent artic blast.
Actually, they spent even more than that.
ReplyDeleteAt least Weinrich Zitzmann Whitehead Inc was shut down and no longer offers "financial services. They lost people money.
ReplyDeleteI used to call them "Weinstein Zits Blackhead!"
Hey @10:22 - 1983 called and said it still doesn't care.
ReplyDeleteAnother fuckup, perhaps Mayor McDrinkerson's worst.
ReplyDeleteThis sucks. I was homeless in kc for almost 5 years. My issue was drugs. Once i stopped doing dope i wasnt homeless anymore. The issue here is that theres not enough structured familys and recovery homes. There are those vets and elderly who are homeless id help them anyday. But theres not enough help. Ill name some good spots to get your life back. Maple house. Good foundation. Welcome house. I worked a shitty job until i got a better one. This is a bad thing. I fucking hate drugs but love weed.
ReplyDeleteUse the now-former Wadell&Reid building for something that helps the community, vs the financial handouts McDrinkerson and Slie just love.
ReplyDeleteThey could use the KC Star building too. Those people are all into the SJW BS.
ReplyDeleteWill never set foot in Bartle Hall again. Yuk.
ReplyDeleteLean up against a wall and get a bum's crusted feces on your hoodie. No thanks.
should have been shut down the day it got above freezing at least!
ReplyDeleteIt should be burned now.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else noticed the new homeless tent city in Westport? It is getting bigger. Let's see how long it is there before the mayor actually does something about it.
ReplyDelete^^Nope. Didn't notice because like you I don't really care. I also have a life, you don't. Do better.
ReplyDeleteActually you don't have a life because you never leave the house. Weird.
ReplyDeleteStop embarrassing yourselfs with the wicked comments towards homeless people. I knew a firefighter that became homeless. It can happen to anyone.
ReplyDeleteThe homeless are a scourge on our society. A bunch of drug-addled losers who contribute nothing but leech everything.
