KANSAS CITY, MO - Data released this week by the federal government shows how close Jackson County hospitals are to reaching capacity amid the unprecedented demands of the coronavirus pandemic. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services each week publishes capacity data for tens of thousands of hospitals nationwide, including the number of beds occupied by COVID-19 patients.

ReplyDeleteIf you are not sure of the seriousness of the current or future healthcare situation and tend to feel warm and fuzzie by minimizing the health impact of this virus go to a hospital treating Covid patients (ICU) and interview the personnel. Also spend the day in the emergency waiting room. I would respect that kind of commitment to ones beliefs, as it would provide first hand knowledge and credibility to comments made.

But at the end of the day I shed these childish speculations and return to my adult life in reality. I pocess the ability to switch fantasy on and off.
