Catalytic converter stolen from bus used to transport people with developmental disabilities as reports of the costly crime increase
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Police in several Kansas City metro cities say a quick and costly crime is on the rise. Catalytic converter thefts are increasing once again. Someone cut a catalytic converter off a much-needed vehicle that belongs to the Mattie Rhodes Center.
It's time to put the heat on salvage yards.
ReplyDeleteSeveral car makers have chosen to use Palladium and other rare metals for converters. Its sucked up all that metal off the markets as its used of other industrial purposes, doubling the spot price of the metals. They skyrocketed to way more than the price of GOLD.
ReplyDeleteSo people steal. Its like gold under the car!
Stupid negroes will steal the stink out of shit, send them all back to their mother lands ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI agree with 12:49.
ReplyDeleteThey know they are buying stolen property.
They should be held accountable.
2:24, it would be simpler if we just sent you back to your mother land.
ReplyDeleteYou are the one who is unAmerically hating on his fellow country men.
Historically, this is a crime favored by poor white meth addicts.
Just shoot the thieving niggers. They'll learn eventually.
ReplyDeleteLaughing at the comment at 1229!!!!! Bro/Ms, do you really think the Jackson County Prosecutors Office led by none other "MEAN JEAN" would actually put some tweaker in Jail for a petty Property Crime.. Your better off catching the turd and doing some vigilante street justice to him/her, she/he................
ReplyDeleteJust my 2 cents!
2:48 lil bitch
ReplyDeleteThe car manufacturers could use other materials for converters. it might be a bigger unit, buy honeycomb ceramic works well, it just requires a higher temp. So lazy car manufaturers use precious rare metals already is short supply that are worth almost 3 times the price of gold. They knew people would steal them. Then they sell replacement items. Its never ending "gold mine" for Ford, GM, Chrysler .....
ReplyDeleteKCPD and Jackson County Prosecutors Office are weak on property crime. They could stop a truck full of stolen catalytic converters and all they would get is ticket and a misdemeanor for millions worth of damage. KCMO is a paradise for thieves and fraudsters.
ReplyDelete...........Warning!! Whoop!! Whoop!! Warning!! Whoop!! Whoop!! Warning!!
ReplyDeleteUnemployed gay momma's basement BLM imbecile libtard troll Alpinista is awake and active. Be prepared for amazing stupidity. Remarks may include such terms as: CHUD, geezer, MAGAT, Maude, Trumptard and weird. Often starts with two or more silly ^^ marks. It is strongly recommended one should ignore what he/she/it posts as it may cause permanent brain damage.

I read in the paper- because My neighbor got up late- that this is a crime of passion- I think The KC Star plans to apologize for this ... maybe make reparations.
ReplyDeleteI feel bad for any of The KC Star’s upper management who have had them stolen off their Teslas.
I want them to know KC citizens truthfully apologize. So sorry.
In shared Ring videos the low lives are 20-something white kids (male and female).
ReplyDeleteThe blacks are just stealing whole cars.
