TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA RESIDENT PLEADS: IT'S TIME TO BOARD UP STOREFRONTS AGAIN, BEFORE ELECTION 2020 HOT MESS!!!

This Summer in Kansas City "mostly peaceful' protest riots completely devastated the Country Club Plaza far worse than any event local history.

Of course COVID-19 had a horrible economic toll, so did years of teen violence, and easier retail options via the Internets also eroded the customer base.

But there is no denying that a massive closure of businesses and customers completely abandoning this town's most iconic district took place in the immediate aftermath of historic 'Black Lives Matter' riots on the Plaza.

Real talk, not since the Plaza flood has the economy of this entertainment district been hit so hard.

And now, frustration from "many sides" of the 2020 presidential election now threatens the Plaza once again.

To wit . . .

TKC READERS SEND WORD OF WARNING: BOARDING UP THE LAST REMAINING PLAZA STOREFRONTS AMID ELECTION RETURNS ISN'T A BAD IDEA!!!

Here's one note out of many . . .

"There isn't any doubt that a lot of people are going to be disappointed after Tuesday. Last time around some might have been surprised by the intensity of the protests but now we know that American political violence is a reality. So we should be prepared. I'm worried about the Plaza getting caught off guard again. If [President] Trump wins or refuses to concede protesters converging on the Country Club Plaza is almost a given. I imagine they might come back to City Hall as well but the retail district is more vulnerable. I've talked with one owner and he says he'll close temporarily if it looks like things are getting bad . . . But that might not be enough. Boarding up windows doesn't take much and it could save jobs, merchandise and untold misery. I'm going to paraphrase you TKC: People can do what they want with their business but now they can't say they weren't warned."

Accordingly, and just to demonstrate that this isn't just cowtown worry or local chatter. Check mainstream sources also "concerned" about the prospect of election violence . . .
