HISTORIC CRISIS!!! KANSAS CITY BREAKS ALL-TIME HOMICIDE RECORD AFTER LATEST 2020 KILLING NEAR THE PASEO!!!

A deadly milestone has been accomplished.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY RECORDS HOMICIDE #154 & BREAKS THE ALL-TIME MURDER RECORD!!!

This isn't celebration but a dubious and tragic achievement that represents a failure at every strata of leadership in Kansas City.

Real talk . . . In a way, this is a failure for TKC. For years we've attempted to raise awareness and a great deal of the response commentary has been suburban trolls gloating and enjoying the massacre without any mercy or humanity. 

The innocent and children have been slaughtered in Kansas City in the years we've kept this homicide count but still there hasn't been much progress or any semblance of a viable plan from politicos, activists, urban leaders or pundits.

This blog has kept a homicide count for years in hopes that the numbers and the raw data would inspire more awareness and action from decision makers. Sadly, so many words, links and update have been in vain . . . The murder count continues unabated and very few people have stepped up to take any responsibility for the ongoing massacre.

KMBC: KCPD reporting homicide Wednesday morning near Dunn Park

Fox4: Homicide in Kansas City near 66th and Paseo breaks previous 1993 record

KCTV5: Kansas City records 154th homicide for the year

Deets:

"The Kansas City Police Department said officers are on the scene of a homicide near 66th Street and The Paseo."

Again, this is homicide #154 compared to only 124 at this time last year.

The murder total is greater than any number in recorded KCMO history.
