Jackson County Democrats Contend: More Medicaid Will Create Missouri Jobs After Surprise Red State Progressive Victory
Election aftermath and a bit of a victory lap as JACKSON COUNTY DEMOCRATS CELEBRATE SHIFTING MISSOURI POLITICS as we slouch toward the 2020 climax . . .
"After years of Republican inaction and millions of dollars lost, Missouri voters approved Medicaid expansion yesterday once again showing how citizens will take matters into their own hands when elected officials refuse to take responsibility.
"The Yes on 2 campaign, which was endorsed by the Jackson County Democratic Committee and other parts of the party infrastructure, was a statewide collaboration that got the job done. The victory came in a few critical areas: St. Charles County, Green County, Platte County and Eastern Jackson County. As we saw with other ballot issues in 2016, areas that used to be Republican strongholds are coming around steadily to issues championed by Democratic officials and voters. This is great news for the thousands across the state who will now have access to health care and for the prospects of the November election in areas most important to our state-wide and local Democratic candidates. "

ReplyDeleteThe opposite is true. Medicaid expansion will costs the states more money and that means jobs will be cut to pay for this. Just take a look at NY and how they are struggling with this. How this won was, there was good campaigning for the yes vote that sounded good, but there was no campaigning or education on the no vote and how this would effect everyone.
Voting has consequences!
Governor Parson was out there begging people to vote No. He lost, he's toast in November. Democrats win and they're winnig back the state. If the Republicans side with Trump, they deserve to lose!
DeleteNothing is free.
ReplyDeleteAnd for all the SJWs who voted for this, the new "jobs" will be in the health care industry, which they hate and have recently condemned as part of systemic racism.
ReplyDeleteMore unintended consequences from low-information voters.
Can't wait to see the election results this November.
ReplyDeletesupport in "Eastern Jackson County"..i.e. more Democrat Homies voting for "Mo' Free Stuff"
And taxes and normal people who already pay for health care will get a double whammy when they raise the taxes to support it and their own health care premiums will go up as well.
ReplyDeleteI can’t believe people are this stupid.
Believe it!
ReplyDeleteAlbert Einstein once said, mans intelligence is limited but his stupidity is infinite.

ReplyDeleteWhy do dimwits always think more government jobs is the answer to everything?
ReplyDeleteThat’s where most of the money will be spent, wages.
I don’t know Maude, why are you all alone on a blog on Sunday night? That a better question. Lonely?
ReplyDelete8:11 you’re here so now I’m not lonely anymore! Hahahahaha!
ReplyDelete^^You’ve been lonely since your wife died. It’s why your here 24/7. Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteThe Medicaid increase means layoffs for State Government workers and less money for Higher Education.
ReplyDeleteState of Missouri will have a huge budget deficit as now they are forced to match the Medicaid Federal funding out of the state budget.
Hospitals and doctors will enrich themselves more.
Drug heads and shooting victims will receive more emergency room care free of charge and paid by taxpayers.
How can you tell Jackson County Democrats are lying? They write shit like this.
ReplyDeleteNo care for taxpayers ($2B from federal taxpayers and $300M locally). Even you Weird Guy, all of the Byrons, Knocked the Fuck Out guy, OK Boomer guy, and the rest of you should be concerned about your crackwhore money being taxed.
