Jackson County Sheriff Forté Alleges Criminal Activity And Racism Against Local Law Enforcement Colleagues

One of the top law enforcement officials in the metro shares another scathing indictment against his own organization as the primary moves closer:

Sheriff Forté doesn’t only see racism, but has himself experienced more direct disrespect in his two years as Sheriff than he did in 5 & 1/2 years as KCPD Chief.

“Some of the things going on with the sheriffs office is because I’m a black male telling telling them what to do and they’re not accustom to it,” Sheriff Forté said.
