(Washington, D.C.) – On Wednesday, May 20th at 1:00pm EDT, United States Representatives Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) and Max Rose (D-NY), Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee’s Intelligence and Counterterrorism Subcommittee, will hold a virtual forum on the evolution of threats from domestic and international terrorism during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The forum will be hosted by the House Homeland Security Committee and will focus on how extremists of all stripes have sought to exploit the pandemic, how existing movements have been amplified during this time, and how the government could and should be responding. This event will be streamed live.

There is extremism on both sides. I think demanding people stay locked down until July is quite extreme. If this is going to be a fair discussion, we need to look at how both sides of the political spectrum can grow extremist. Here in Kansas City we have seen college students attack conservative speakers. That is extreme.
