SHOCK!!! KANSAS CITY GUNFIRE & RECORD-BREAKING MURDER MOMENTUM START REOPEN WEEKEND AFTER CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN!!!
A shooting near the Taco Bell on Prospect is the latest spate of gunfire to echo through Kansas City streets as locals prepare to go back to work.
Update: Just now there's social media word of rifle fire just South of the Plaza.
To wit . . .
SO FAR THE REOPEN HAS MOSTLY WELCOMED A HAIL OF GUNFIRE RATHER THAN A RETURN TO BIZ THIS WEEKEND!!!
Here's the roundup and, finally, another media outlet noting this town's tragic murder pace . . .
KSHB: KCMO remains on pace for record-breaking year for homicides
Deets:
"Three people were shot, one fatally, in two separate incidents — not including the homicide in the 8300 block of Wornall Road, which has a Kansas City address but is unincorporated and part of the Jackson County sheriff's jurisdiction — and police launched a separate homicide investigation of a suspicious death so far this weekend."
"To date, there have 62 homicides in the city, according to KCPD."
Developing . . .
at this rate we'll hit 155 murders by mid November.
ReplyDeleteAt least we know that locking down the city won't really do any good.
Delete^^^ +100
DeleteThis is no time for our hood rats to get complacent. Consistency will be the key to setting the new record.
ReplyDeletehoodrats......
ReplyDeleteJean Petersucker Baker will be doing what she does best. Low or no bail, probation and weak prosecution or charges dropped. She contributes greatly to our high murder rate.
ReplyDeleteThe KC democrats have blood on their hands.
ReplyDeleteVery soon the medical emergency will be over and Lucas and the gang will be confronted with the fact that the time for press conferences, TV interviews, tweets, and selfies has ended and they will actually be faced with the actual responsibilities of governing a city.
ReplyDeleteThen the emptiness of slogans, cluelessness about services actually needed by residents, financial irresponsibility, and lack of results will once again become clear to all.
Playing make-believe will have run out.
Sad.
Kolords were shootin' all over the place today. Bootlips just being bootlips.
ReplyDeleteThere’s still 12 hrs to go to hit 65! C’mon hoodrats, you can do this!
ReplyDelete7:29. All democrats have blood on their hands
ReplyDeleteAn alcohol prohibition experiment could work. Six weeks prohibited, three weeks allowed, six weeks prohibited etc.
ReplyDeleteTwo years outta be enough time to realize if alcohol is a problem with gun usage for killing others.
Why not a negro prohibition? One year with no negroes. We would have about 10 murders.
ReplyDeleteWhy not replace Jean Petersucker Baker with a real prosecutor for a year? Actually try to sentence criminals to maximum sentences. No plea bargains. That would lower crime.
ReplyDeleteHow is 83rd and Wornall unincorporated?
ReplyDelete8300 Blk of E Truman is unincorporated Jackson County. Tony must have the interns working tonight.
ReplyDeleteThat was KSHB story 11:13 dip shit.
ReplyDeleteCrime is going to go through the roof. The officers I’ve spoke with have all said they are finished in Jackson County. While Jean is still prosecutor they aren’t lifting a finger. Two of their own being charged for a crime that didn’t happen places them all at risk. Let Jean and Lucas find a way out of this shit they created. This year’s numbers are going to be bad, really bad.
