You decide . . .
That's money. Well. Spent.
ReplyDeleteHope you're joking. It's a huge waste of money for an outdated job title. We need a strong mayor form of government and the ability to make this job a thing of the past. The time for that kind of control over the city is past. We haven't had a good manager in 25 years. This is unacceptable.
Delete+15K!
DeleteIf we could only get Crosby Kemper to take charge.
ReplyDeleteIf the person is effective it is worth every penny. Performance markers should be a huge part of that salary. Don't meet the markers and the person should be making $50K/yr at most.
ReplyDeleteApply by Apr 27, 2020!
ReplyDeleteYou could make that return to work really pay off.
Hey, hold on...someone said CHUCK DIED. That can't be. When? Is there any proof?
ReplyDelete^^and yet it is. Weird.
ReplyDelete^^^ so where is the proof?
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, it will never show up. Because there isn't any.
Help Wanted! A job for a grafter of distinction!
ReplyDeleteWith the Super Bowl under it's belt KCMO is now (or was until Covid 19) one of the great cities of the modern world. Its vigorous art, theater, philosophy, architecture, and experiments in democracy are today regarded as foundational to modern Western culture.
Are you high?
DeletePiling on the hype and lies as usual.
ReplyDeleteIt will either be a crook not from KC or a crook from KC.
ReplyDeleteWhoever it is, they won't be able to stop crime, end homelessness or stop drug use, so they will be deemed incompetent & replaced.
ReplyDeleteBecause your expectations are unreasonable, you've created a revolving door that a long line of people will pass through.
You will still have a crime, drug & homelessness problem.
Byron, you’re so stupid and I’ll informed. Our most recent City Managet stayed 10 years. That’s a very long time for that position. You could stay off this blog and solve our idiot problem. No one wants you here.
Delete3:22 the same could be said of you
ReplyDeleteI'm having a beer right now with Chuck and he is alive and well. He's just tired of dealing with the likes of Byron, MoRage and so forth. Remember America hates you white boy.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is tired of dealing with BLieRon. At least the others are locals and not welfare cheats from Appalachia. They likely have their teeth and don’t have sexual fantasies about their mother, like Byron does.
DeleteI thought there was some earlier speculation about KC's ability to access stimulus funds being dependent on having a population over 500,000. Yet this job posting says nearly 500,000?
ReplyDeleteHelp Wanted
ReplyDeleteDo you have absolutely no skills whatsoever? Are you a woman, minority or a homosexual? Do you frequently write bad checks? Are you a proven liar?
If so, please apply for our opening as the next city manager.
Well at least it wont be a Nazi who literally thinks his shitface don't stink.
DeleteHell no !!! How do think this would be OK to even discuss a salary like that right now ? Is there anyone with a brain left at city hall ?
ReplyDelete3:54 someone here said the city budget claims there are 490,000 ish people
ReplyDelete4:41 how funny, that link takes you to pornhub with a giant cucumber.....
ReplyDelete4:41 is dreaming of that giant cucumber stuck up his arse! Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteThe I hate chuck troll can’t get his lies straight!
ReplyDeleteWell he will be doing the work for 12 to 15 diversity hires.
ReplyDeleteChuck is not dead. You suckers. You fell for it.
ReplyDeleteI disagree - $325 K sounds about right, for TEN YEAR'S SALARY AS CITY MANAGER!
ReplyDelete$325k is not enough money to try to fix this mess.
ReplyDeleteWho Gives a FUCK ? With all these armchair authorities on TONYS, seems they would be the first to apply and save our city. Or is it only with their expertise replies ? Weird
ReplyDeleteI'd take a top "raking" job for $325K.
ReplyDeletePlus I own my own rake.
Crazy thing is, you could hire an IQ 100 immigrant that has only been raised on morals and principles by a mother and father that loved him/her, pay that person 35 thou yr, and this person that only understands pragmatics as oppossed to politics will do better than your gutless Ivy league politicians. America is still 67% on the side of simple truth, and that side easily destroys the leftist movement as long as it states its truth plainly and exposes the folly of liberal rhetoric.
ReplyDeleteThere are secretaries who made 100K at DST Systems. The City Manager should pay alot more if your trying to get talent from L.A., Chicago, Ft Worth, Phoenix or Denver.
ReplyDeleteBut if they live in those cities, then they’re not coming here.
DeleteJackson County is raising each employees pay by $5,500 each (900 employees).
ReplyDeleteWe told you the property tax increase would go to bureaucrat salaries and pension plans and not to increased services like fixing potholes or providing increased law enforcement.
Government has become worthless as we fork over 50% or more in our earnings via federal income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, state income taxes, earnings tax, estate taxes drivers licences fees etc. and we get a small fraction in return in the way of services.
About 90% goes to salaries and benefits for fat-ass government workers, public university professors and other worthless welfare recipients.
7:04 have you seen what an average Jackson county employee makes a year? $5,500 might put them at $28,000 a year, hell $15 dollars an hour is more than that.
ReplyDeleteWe will go from the Paris of the Plains to Venezuela. Business in the Metro will never be the same. Film at Eleven.
