Kansas City's huge yearly event to raise money for Children's Mercy Hospital is the latest in a long line of events forced to cancel over concerns regarding the coronavirus.Officials announced Tuesday that Big Slick has been canceled.

    The money it takes to put the event on just might be enough to save a child or two from dying.

    1. You obviously no nothing about how fundraising works, especially ones involving sponsorships, table prices, etc. so you’ve likely never attended a higher-end charity event. It’s extremely likely the people who pay for those sponsorships and such will write checks directly to CMH this year. Don’t be such an asshole.
