Kansas City homeless program to close overnight shelter
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - The metro's largest homeless shelter is being forced to cut back a major program, and staff said it's due to a lack of funding. The organization reStart says it is phasing out its emergency overnight shelter, one of 17 programs they offer to help people reach stability in their life.
Most of KC homeless are mentally ill or drug users. The state needs to open mental hospitals back up again. And no it's not Trumps fault.
ReplyDelete4 million dollars for the rest of the year to house ninety people every night. Why not close the shelter and give each of those 90 people $44,000
DeleteWorth a bit of investigation. How could this have been managed so badly?
ReplyDelete5:36, Trump has normalized hatred, so yes, it is his fault.
ReplyDeleteBeing homeless will make anyone mentally ill, you should try it & see for yourself, asshole.
Oh Byron. You know all about mental illness.
DeleteByron was at the Serenity Coffee Shop at 6109 Blue Ridge Blvd this morning...and that is in Raytown, Mo. NOT West Virginia.
