The quotient of violence on local streets worsens this morning. Here's the story of a violent death of Kansas City streets that might or might inspire more questions from community activists who continue to protest every officer-involved shooting.
Deets from police report sent to media:
"According to police, a family member had called concerned about an armed adult male relative under the influence of illegal narcotics and experiencing a mental health crisis. When officers arrived, the man ran from the residence armed with a gun. K9 and UAV drone officers responded to the area to assist officers with the search. The armed man was eventually located near the rear of several houses in the 6800 block of Indiana Avenue, where a standoff ensued. Officers tried to get the man to drop the gun by firing beanbag rounds. Police said tactical officers and negotiators arrived at the scene to try and help, but during the negotiations, the man made several attempts to get into a home on Indiana Avenue.Officers were concerned for the safety of the people in that home and neighboring homes. At around 1:40 a.m., the man pointed his gun at several officers and one of the officers fired at the male, striking him.The man was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He died a short time later."

Sounds like police were working to protect innocent people to me.

DeletePCP the acid of meth.
ReplyDeleteCalled the police on your drug addicted son...? Should’ve just called the morgue... he was going to end up there anyway maybe with less bullet holes. What did this family think was going to happen in this neighborhood? Had this been in the northland, this outcome would be different.
ReplyDeleteAll ya need to be shot in the northland is a sword.
ReplyDeleteFunny how these so called underprivileged people seem to find money enough to buy drugs. Does Colin "butt hole" Kapernick know about this?
ReplyDeleteI still have some for your fat wife's slim fast this month..
DeleteWhy didn’t the cops just shoot the gun out of his hand? Or just shoot him in the leg?
ReplyDeleteYeah, 7:03 it is whiteys fault.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Colin can give a speech about white privilege at the funeral, at least until shots ring out.
Call the police on your drug addicted son who is running around with a gun? What do you expect to happen? Dumbfxcks.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^ Gosh, I guess you can't abandon your precious politics for even a moment. What a waste.
ReplyDeleteSOme of the comments identify the real story. If you call the police in some instances, residents need to realize the odds of a good outcome are limited. It may not be pleasant but it's important public info.
68th and indiana? That’s the south land, anything south of 63rd is south, but who cares, another dead hoodrat is good!
ReplyDeleteThey gave a shot of beanbags first. I thought that was fairly restrained. Great idea to get fucked up on PCP and wave a gun at the cops. Sorry, not much of the brain trust lost here.
ReplyDeleteKSHB... called it I've called for a mental health issue then in the same report says the mother told them he was on PCP... How is that a mental health issue?
ReplyDelete^^^ He was black so....
ReplyDeleteWas probably your Byron type loser who was a drain on the system. Well he won't be now. Byron be along shortly calling it murder.
ReplyDeleteI don't even know what PCP looks like or what it is, why would you smoke it?! Is it cheaper than weed?
ReplyDeleteThere's no such thing as PCP.
ReplyDeleteIt'a just something the police invented to justify killing people in self-defense.
This time, it sounds like the police had no choice, but don't run out the PCP lie to cover up the fact that he was mentally ill.
You have a very comfortable typing environment bubble byron, you renaissance man of sensitivity.
ReplyDeleteFYI dudes, so does hops in beer. sorry.
ReplyDelete"Stay Away From These Phytoestrogen Sources: Beer
How could this manliest of beverages possibly possess anti-manly potential?6 Many believe that beer is as manly a beverage as you can possibly get, but that’s dead wrong. Even the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose training advice is gold, was wrong about beer in the famous bodybuilding movie Pumping Iron.
Centuries ago, the Vikings drank a similar beverage called mead, made of honey and herbs. In fact, the only necessary ingredients needed to make beer are water, sugar, and yeast. However, this is not how modern-day beer is made. It is made with hops, which should be considered a tragic ingredient choice of gargantuan proportions.
Ever considered what a beer belly really is? It is more than just excess caloric intake causing a bit of extra fat. In fact, it is positively attributed to the estrogenic effect of hops,7 which promote belly fat accumulation, increased testosterone aromatization, and subsequent gynecomastia (man-boobs), if you aren’t careful."
