INSIDERS WARN THE TEMP JAIL IS TOAST AND THE CRISIS IS SOON TO GET DUMPED BACK IN KCMO CITY HALL'S LAP!!!
Here's the word:
"They're already talking about it now. The temporary jail isn't going to work for a lot of reasons that 12th & Oak should have already known. Yes, the contract is up in 6 months but the crisis point is coming a lot sooner than that . . . We're looking at a HUGE EXPENSE FOR KCMO that the County is now going to kick across the street. So I guess Troy Schulte crossed the road just in time given that this bad deal is a masterpiece from city hall during his tenure."
What we know now is that the promised transfers to Vernon County jail and other nearby facilities are taking longer than expected and KCMO still houses inmates at the facility so the upcoming shut down will force a quick fix.
