Actually, it looks like he'll staying busy with more rewarding stuff but his parting shot should hit home for our community . . .
"For quite a few years I have not allowed comments on this blog because when I did allow them readers turned the comments section into a theist-atheist pitched battle of nastiness. I decided I did not want to be responsible for creating one more platform for uncivil discourse in our culture."

Thanks, blog readers, but now I'm on to other things
As the archives of this blog will attest, I started it in December 2004 when I was still a full-time columnist at The Kansas City Star. I've loved the daily rhythm of doing it -- as, earlier, I loved the...
Hey Tony,
ReplyDeleteTake the fucking hint.
Good Riddance Bill! :)

ReplyDeleteSocial Security finally kick in?
No, Bill, you were never guilty of creating anything as interesting as (gasp!) uncivil discourse.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is a waste of time.
ReplyDeleteAt least his attacks on the Catholics and Jews. As well as his ass kissing of Muslims. It his own family must have been sick of him excusing the swine who killed his nephew. So, dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Billy.
ReplyDeleteBut @5:07, what do you have to live for now?
ReplyDeleteIs he going to do public relations for the Taliban?
ReplyDeleteOh where have you been- Billy Boy, Billy Boy?
ReplyDeleteOh where have you been Charming Billy?
I have been writing stuff
It’s been kinda rough
I’m not a young thing and and can’t swing a putter.
Can you bake a cherry pie - Billy Boy, Billy Boy
Can you bake a cherry pie - harming Billy?
I can’t bake a cherry pie
But with writing I can or can’t lie
I am not a young thing and can not see any butter

ReplyDeleteBill...you blame the atheists and the theists. Wrong. It's the atheists who threatened theists...and often with violence. Remember the little Russian Iggy? Wow!
ReplyDeleteHe moved to Washington , and changed his name to Kevin. Kevin Dybal. You can contact him on facebook and say hi!
DeleteWell.............BYE!
ReplyDeleteI dont see why Bill's blog was even important...with NO COMMENTS for TEN YEARS he was totally out of touch with whatever readership he had. He's toast. It's over, skippy.
