TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY NO-KILL CONSPIRACY EXPOSED: ANIMAL CONTROL TAKEOVER ELIMINATES MILLIONS IN STALLED PET PROJECT SHELTER DEBT!!!

The Kansas City campus for Animal Care claims that it'll be finished by the end of the year but that won't happen without a major cash infusion from City Hall.

And to be clear, that debt we're talking about in the post headline isn't really destroyed . . . It'll just be passed on to KCMO residents.

Background . . .

In 2017 KC Pet Project encouraged locals to support GO Bonds and said they would help to raise $8-MILLION BUCKS to help privately finance a new animal shelter. Again, we give credit where it's due, they claim to have raised $206K from private funders but now report that they only owe about a million dollars.

Now, here's the upshot from a committee substitute ordinance that will debuted very soon . . .

THE PROPOSED ANIMAL CONTROL TAKEOVER WILL ERADICATE KC PET PROJECT DEBT FOR THE NEW ANIMAL SHELTER AND TAXPAYERS WILL PAY FOR THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE DESPITE ACTIVIST PROMISES!!!

Given that construction now includes cost overruns and there's still a lot of work and equipment left to do on the interior . . .

THIS IS A BETRAYAL WITH A PRICE TAG OF ABOUT 10 MILLION BUCKS!!!

If there's a teachable moment for this controversy it's that activist promises don't mean much if politicos & voters don't hold them accountable for their election rhetoric. Again . . .

If anybody else but middle-class white women abandoned a $10-MILLION promise they'd be in jail or worse . . .

Still, most of the media refuses to ask questions about this cash or the BROKEN GO BOND DEAL soon to be completely discarded.

Sadly, this isn't the only controversy confronting this cursed animal endeavor . . .

- City Hall insiders are still angry about the NO BID CONSTRUCTION especially given the current cash infusion needed for finishing touches.

- The animal control takeover will terminate tons of white-working class and minority pet control pros at the behest of middle-class mostly JoCo based hotties. Push back against this effort is starting to gain traction.

- People still love puppies. The animal control takeover effort remains popular among the council, new mayor and local elites. It will likely pass given media silence on the topic.

And so, here's the doggie style conclusion . . .

The pattern of KCMO civic misbehavior is nearly Pavlovian -- Middle-class suburbanites stand up for a reasonably good cause and push an expensive agenda on Kansas City that ultimately incurs horrific expenditures and management troubles which,in turn, are then passed on to broke-ass urban taxpayers who are brow beaten for their support like an old dog hit over the head with a newspaper.
